TWO HERBALIST HAVE BEEN SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS IMPRISOMENT FOR HARD LABOUR

 

Two herbalist in Dedza Julius Phiri aged 30 and Jafali William aged 27 have been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment with hard labour for fraud and false pretence.

State Prosecutor Dickson Chipotle told the Court thatthe two obtained money from a man Identified as Mathews Mthamangira on grounds that they would bring back to life his daughter who died mysteriously at the age of 12 in 2019.

The two pleaded guilty to the charge and asked court for leniency saying they are first offenders.
