POLICE IN MANGOCHI HAS IN CUSTODY TWO MEN BUSTED FOR ALLEGEDLY BEING FOUND IN POSSESSION OF DEAD PANGOLIN

Namwera Police post in Mangochi district has in custody two men  busted for allegedly being found in possession of a dead pangolin.

Police Spokesperson Sub Inspector Amina Tepani Daudi who has identified the suspects as Affick John, 35 and Elias Janatu ,45, says the duo was apprehended on the night of 11 March 2023 around Chiponde trading centre in the district.

'' On the said date , Namwera Police Detectives were tipped by members of the community that the men were offering for sale the listed species'',said Daudi.
