A MAN ARRESTED FOR CUTTING ELECTRICAL POLES

 Police in Lilongwe have arrested a 26 years old Nevas Chimphanje for cutting electrical poles.

According to Lilongwe Police Station Sub- Inspector Hastings Chigalu says Chimphanje was arrested on 3 March 2023 by the Forest Rangers who were looking for Dzalanyama Forest.

Chigalu continues to say that a man arrested while cutting five poles using an axe and he was convicted to steal electrical wire amounting to K9,750,0000.
