POLICE IN MZUZU ARREST TWO MEN FOR ALLEGEDLY BEING FOUND WITH FAKE BANKNOTES

  Police in mzuzu has arrested two men for allegadly found with fake banknotes.  According to Mzuzu Police Station Sub Inspector Paul Tembo says the suspects were found with machine for banknotes and amount of money closer to k50 000 which is in K2000, K1000 and K500. The two were producing the fake banknotes and use it to buy house items such as food and another stuffs, said Tembo. The suspects were expected to answer the charge of being found with fake banknotes and founding with machines for making those fake banknotes.

POLICE IN DEDZA ARREST A 32- YEAR OLD WOMEN FOR ALLEGEDLY SCALDING HER NEIGHBOUR

  Police in Dedza arrest a 32 - year old women for allegedly scalding her neighbour together with her baby with boiling water following disagreement over a missing knife. Dedza Police Spokesperson  Edward Kabango says the suspect is Angella Tadeyo. According to Kabango, the victim carried her son on her back at the time of the incident, the both sustained serious burns and the five month old baby boy has since died.      

DETECTIVE FROM SOCHE POLICE IN BLANTYRE HAVE FOILED AN ATTEMPTED HEIST ON AN ARMORED CASH VAN

 Detective from Soche Police in Blantyre have foiled an attempted heist on an armed cash van ,in a gun fight at Chichiri Shopping Mail on February 27 2023. Blantyre Police Deputy Publicist Sergeant Aubrey Singanyama, who has not disclosed the number of suspects says officers managed to shoot and apprehend the suspects. Our source in the Criminal Investigations Department says six suspects were shoot in the legs to disorient and disarm them. Singanyama says the suspects were driving a black Honda Freed with fake registration plates.        

POLICE IN MONKEY_ BAY ARREST TWO MEN FOR BREAKING INTO A BUILDING

    Police in Monkey_ Bay Mangochi is keeping in custody two men for breaking into building and steal some items amounting to k9.5 million. According to Monkey- Bay Police Station Spokesperson Sergeant Alice Sichali has identified the suspects as Baggio Mayungu aged 35 of Chimphamba Village, Traditional Authority Nankumba in the district and  Asif Malik, aged 33 a Pakistan national. It is reported that between 2017 and 2018 a cooperative Called Tiyanjane Group from Nsaka where the first suspect is a chairperson, received a machine plant as a donation from Christian Aid for their livelihood and it was planted in an office waiting for electricity. On February 23, 2023 around 21:00hrs, the two suspects went to Nsaka fishing beach on two motor vehicles, where they broke into the office and stolen the machines, but the Police at Mtakataka Turn- Off Road Block, intercepted them after failed to produce document, said Sichali.

POLICE IN CHITIPA ARREST 25 ETHIOPIANS FOR ILLEGALLY ENTERING THE COUNTRY WITHOUT PROPER DOCUMENTS

 Police in Chitipa are keeping in custody 25 Ethiopians for illegally entering the coutry without proper document. Police Officer Spokesperso for Chitipa says , the suspects were entered the country  without proper documents who later the  Police identified them. All of them were in police custody to answer the charge of entering the other country without proper documents to  enter , said the police.

POLICE IN RUMPHI ARREST SEVEN ETHIOPIANS AND TWO MALAWIANS FOR ENTERING THE COUTRY ILLEGALY

 Police in Rumphi have arrested seen Ethiopians and two Malawians for entering the country illegally and human trafficking offences respectively. According to Rumphi Police Station Spokesuperson Sergeant Tupeliwe Kabwilo says the suspects were arrested at Bale area during the night of February 15 2023. The two Malawians are You and Mkandawire aged 23 and Nelson Mkandawire aged 19 both from Traditional Authority Mwankhunikira in Rumphi district.      

FORMER CHIEF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER HAS BEEN ARRESTED

 Former Chief Information and Communication Officer for State residence Chancy Chingwalungwalu has been arrested. According to Chingwalungwalu says he has confirmed about his arrest saying police are accusing him of posting a story on The Malawi Independent, claiming the President Lazarus Chambers is practising nepotism when appointed and promoting Malawi Defence Force Soldiers and that the soldiers are planning protest this. National Police Spokesperson Peter Malaya has confirmed the arrest saying, they have changed him for cyber harassment offensive communication and defamation of character.         

A YOUNG MALAWIAN BOY ARRESTED IN SOUTH AFRICA FOR STEALING

    A young Malawian boy has arrested in South Africa after stealing money amounting to 10 thousand Rand which is k800 000 as Malawi Kwacha from his boss. According to South Africa Police says, the boy were arrested after receiving a message from his closer friend. A boy is aged 17 and is from Machinga district and is in South Africa Police custody.             

MAN HAS BEEN SHOT DIED IN MZUZU

  Paul Mango a cashier at Asante Business Bureau has been shit died in Mzuzu, police has confirmed. According to Mzuzu police spokesperson Paul Tembo says it seems to be robbery,the assailants have managed to walk away with huge sums of cash. He continues to add that, investigation are underway to apprehend the assailants as well as establish the amount of cash that has stolen during the incident.

POLICE IN LIWONDE IS LOOKING FOR MOTHER WHO HAS DUMPED A SIX_ WEEK OLD BABY BOY

 <   Police in Liwonde Machinga are hunting for a mother who dumped a six week old baby boy around Machinga Agriculture Development Division (ADD) lines in the district. Liwonde police station publicist, Ngwashape Msume has confirmed the development, saying , the baby was discovered yesterday by a woman who reported the matter to police.      

POLICE IN KASUNGU HAVE ARRESTED A MALAWI DEFENCE FORCE SOLDIER FOR KILLING HIS BILOGICAL DAUGHTER

 Police in Lasing have arrested  a Malawi Defense Force Soldier,  Medium Nyirengo  for allegedly killing  his biological daughter, Jane.  The Military man who works at Engineers Battalion in Kasungu is suspected to have taken two of his children to a bush near Kalumba stream where he allegedly murdered Jane by suffocating her,  and left the 2 year- old son in the bush.  According  to Kasungu police station  spokesperson, Joseph Kachikho says this occurred after he had separated with his wife recently.  The boy was found on 27 January by Rosemary Nasi who was going  to her garden and the remains of Jane was found on 11 February 2023, said Kachikho. Nyirengo come from Malawira Village,  Traditional  Authority  Chilowamatambe in Kasungu district  is expected  to answer murder charge.             

MANGOCHI POLICE IS KEEPING IN CUSTODY A MAN FROM ZAMBIA ON SUSPICION THAT HE HAS BEEN STEALING FROM VARIOUS WOMEN THROUGH FACEBOOK

Police in Mangochi is keeping  in custody a 28- year - old man from Zambia,  identified  as Ibrahim Maxwell Mustafa, on suspicion that he has been stealing from various  women through  Facebook.  Mangochi police station  spokesperson,  sub - inspector,  Amina Tepani Saudi,  says Mustafa was arrested on 20 February,  2023 in the distance where he want to trink a nurse who works at the district 's hospital, but was caught in the attempt,  as the nurse was in contact with another friend  who was allegedly dwindled two cellphones by the suspect.  According  our findings, the suspect  who bares,  Ibrahim Maxwell, as Facebook  username is settled in Zomba and had been targeting well- to- do women on Facebook by offering  them love.  When love starts,  the suspect  would request  to meet the victim and steal their valuables especially money,  laptops  and phones,  said Daudi.               

POLICE IN MULANJE HAVE ARRESTED A 55 YEAR OLD MAN FOR BEING FOUND WITH TWO BAGS OF CHAMBA

 Police in Mulanje have arrested  a 55- year -old man,  Luciano  Green for allegedly being found possession of two bags of cham a,  30 more plastics  jumbos of the illegal substance and 76 twists of the herb.  According  to Mulanje police station  spokesperson  sergeant,Innocent  Moses says the suspect  will appear before the court soon to answer the criminal case.               

POLICE IN MANGOCHI HAVE ARRESTED THREE MEN FOR BREAKING HOUSE AND STOLING ITEMS WORTH 2.4 MILLION

    Police in Mangochi have arrested three men for house  breaking and recovered stollen items worth k2.4 million.   According  to Mangochi police station  spokesperson,  sub- inspector  Amin a Tepani Saudi,  who has also connected the suspects to series of house theft in the district.   She identified the suspects as,  Mike Masiyano aged 28 from Macheso Village, Traditional  Authority Kapoloma in Machina,  Palinje aged 32, Chomba Village,  Traditional  Authority  Mponda and Mussa Ayilu,  aged 31, Mbaula Village,  Traditional Authority Chose in Mangochi district.                 

POLICE IN CHILADZULU HAVE LAUNCHED A MANHUNT FOR A COUNSELLOR AT MWANJE WARD FOR SELLING A GRADER BELONG TO GOVERNMENT

 Police in chiladzulu have launched  a manhunt for a counsellor Mwanje ward Douglas Mkwezalamba for selling  a grader which belongs to government amounting  500 million kwacha.  According to Chiladzulu police station spokesperson  Cosmas Kagulo says, the counsellor found a buyer for this grador at the amount of K3 500 000 and he received k1 800 000 in the process  via airtel money.  He continue to add that the one who want to buy the grador is a businessman,  Verian Adams Shuli from Tanzania and Mkwezalamba was accompanied  by William Katete to sell the grader.          

TWO MEN HAVE ARRESTED AFTER FOUNDING WITH MATERIALS FOF FAKE BANKNOTES

 Police in Mangochi have arrested  two men from Brundi and Rwanda after founding with materials for fake bank notes.  This happens  after 3days were  the police also arrest Panganani William  aged 21 after found him with fake bank notes closer to k300 000. The two we're Manuel Saudi aged 19 from Rwanda and the other one is Amosi Sean aged 30 from Brundi.  The two were arrested at Chiphole trading center by the police at fort Maguire after an investigation with other people  from the area.  They were found with k165 000  and with further  investigation they reveal materials they use to produce such fake banknotes.      

POLICE IN LILONGWE HAVE ARRESTED ANDREW MTHIKO FOR SELLING DOG MEAT

 The police in Kawale,  Lilongwe have arrested  Andrew Mthiko aged 38 for selling  dog meat.  According  to the police the suspect used to conduct his business as a mobile vendor while roastingmeat for his person  consumption b meat on his charcoal bunker around area 24 and surrounding areas in the disguise of goat meat.  On Saturday,  18 February 2023, police officer in area 24 received  a tip- off that they are sniffing  a strange smell from the suspect 's house. In an investigation, the detectives went to find out only to discover that the suspect  was busy doing  braii.  The suspect lied to the police officers that it is goat meat but his confession that it is dog's meat came in when officers discovered from lookers,  who have been  his customer for a while that the suspect disguised the dog meat as goat.  Andrew come from Kalumbu village in the area of Traditional Authority  Kalumbu in Lilongwe district.  The suspect  is in police custody and will be appearing in court soo

A 39_YEAR -OLD MAN HAVE ARRESTED IN MULANJE FOR BEING FOUND WITH MEDICAL DRUGS WITHOUT LICENSE

  The police  in mulanje have arrested  a 39 year old man,  Dyson Chanunkha for allegedly being  found possession of 36 cartons of assorted medical drugs without license.  Mulanje spokesperson sergeant Innocent Moses says officers intercepted the minibus  a Mazda Bongo,  Mj881, which was at high speed  near Muloza police post.  Upon searching the minibus,  they found 25 sealed cartons of LA and 11 cartons of Panado.  The suspect will appear before court soon to answer charges of being found with medical  drugs without  licence, said Moses.       

POLICE UPROOTED 200 TREES OF CHAMBA IN MCHINJI

    Police in Mchinji looking  for Muhammad Banda aged 27 for planting  cham a closer to half acre.  According to Mchinji police spokesperson, Limbani Mpinganjira confined a case and said that they told by other members of the village and they visited the police were  they found that the owner were fled to Zambia and they start uprooting  the planted material.  Mpinganjira said the plant which were uprooted will be sent to Chitedze Research  Station  for testing.              

FOUR STUDENTS IN NKHATA-BAY SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR SET A LIGHT THE ADMINISTRATION BLOCK

  Police in Nkhata-Bay have arrested four students  from Nkhata-Bay Boys Secondary school in connection to set a light the administration block.  According  to Nkhata-Bay police spoke sergeant  Kondwani James says the four suspects have been charged with malicious damage.  The deputy head teacher at this this school,  Stanley  Mithi says management has identified the ring leaders who set fire in the school on Friday night and surrendered their names to police leading to the arrest.  He continues that,  the authority has engage experts to evaluate the extent of the damage but lesson will resume.            

MANGOCHI ARRESTED A MAN ON ALLEGATION THAT HE SHOT TO DEATH

  Mangochi police arrested  a man Abubakar Ayilu,  aged 43, on allegation  that he shot  to death,  Rabson Allie aged 43 with un identified rifle on suspicion that he was having  a love with his wife.  According  to Mangochi police spokesperson Amin a Tepani Saudi,  it is alleged that few month ago,  the suspect vowed to deal with Allie after he heard rumors that his wife was going with him.  On 7 February  2023, the suspect  and his four accomplices invaded Allie compound  at Uluche village in Traditional Authority  Katuli in the district  and found him with his wife and three kids,  said Tepani Saudi.  The five who carried pangs knives and un identified  rifle threatened  to kill the whole family  and they shot Allie on the right knee after beating him and he died while receiving treatment at Katuli Health  Center,  explained Daudi.        

DEDZA POLICE ARRESTED TWO MEDICAL TRAINEES FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING ASSORTED MEDICAL DRUGS

Police in dedza have arrested  two medical  trainees for allegedly stealing assorted medical drugs.  The two who  we're working at dedza district  hospital on attachment from st john institute for health,  have been  identified  as Ivy Nkhata aged 20 and Olivia Mazinga aged 23. According  to dedza police  spokesperson  Beatrice  Jefita says that,  the two we're doing their attachments  at the institute's department.  The two will appear before the court  to answer  charges, said Jefita.

 Police in mango hi are keeping  in their custody a 21 year old man for being found  with fake malawian  bank notes amounting  at K300 000. Mangochi  police spokesperson, sub-ispector Amin identified   Daudi identified the suspect as Panganani William,  said the detective we're on Monday evening tripped by members of the community that a man was spitted at mangochi main market buying food commodities using fake note.  The suspect  found with fake banknotes in k5000 denomination bearing AE3726680 and AA4725124 serial numbers  in his pocket.  William  come from Katumbu Village,  traditional  authority  Kachenga in Balaka district  and he will appear before court to answer court judges.
